  1. Make sure you rewrite and manage a to-do-list. Make sure you set a limit of how many items you actually write down on your list. I would only choose up to 3 important topics to follow through with and make sure they are hard to do, challenge yourself but also put the biggest tasks first so you aren’t leaving so late.

2.Do not pay attention to time frames more than you do the outcome of the task. You have to find a way that works for you in a timely manner.

Make sure you judge yourself by how much you accomplished and finished not on the time it took you to do so. This will change the way you do your job, in a positive way of course.

Break down a big chore into parts such as me and when I post my blog posts. I break my blog posts into sets such as adding pictures, music, or videos, and so on and so forth. Even if something takes months to complete always make sure you work at it each and every day. When I finish a project I am so eager to begin another project right away.

  1. Have ways of doing things that make you want to work a lot more than you already do and more than you already have. Starting out is the tough area to get through but it will get easier. Make this task a daily part of your daily routine you have set.

This could mean grabbing the same Starbucks latte every morning and arriving at your job and sitting in your car listening to your music until your coffee is gone. As for me, I hang out in my office running my favorite sites skimming through them looking for the newest intel and postings while drinking my coffee. When I finally finish my coffee this is when I snap back to reality and begin to work in a business setting.

  1. Notice where you put your time into and why you put your time into that topic. You should not place your time in certain places to long. If you are getting bored and you are easily distracted change the way you do certain things I your everyday routine. Maybe you also need to realize time crunches in the morning suck the life right out of you. Lay your work clothes out a night earlier to save time and not be in a crunch.

Do not spend your time on facebook instead get a gadget to help you if you need to manage time more efficiently and projects. It could even be something just like RescueTime. Do not draw out a 5-minute conversation and turn it into a one-hour ordeal. Stop giving into your procrastination skills and the things that leave you in a bind with time and just decide today you will change the bad habits and kick them out of the water.
